Glenfall House 22nd - 24th October 2010

Glenfall House near Cheltenham Spa was the venue for our Autumn break.  There were about 20 of us there. It was nice to meet up with everyone again and also meet a few new faces.  Elizabeth-Ann Horsford was the speaker for the weekend.  She spoke about Spiritual Warfare which was a challenging and thought-provoking subject.

On Saturday afternoon we went out and about.  One group went for a walk to enjoy the countryside and others for an afternoon visit to Cheltenham Spa.  In the evening we enjoyed a time of games and entertainment where we were joined by four guests from Gloucester Christian Friends.  On Sunday morning various groups attended different churches in the area.  After a time of reflections after lunch it was time to say goodbye.

We enjoyed the lovely gardens and surroundings at Glenfall and we were given a warm welcome by the staff.  Also we were very well fed!  With thanks to all who worked hard to give us an enjoyable weekend – and we look forward to our New Year holiday in Windermere.
